Get a train to Romania to see haunted castles, werewolves, and vampires. You will have to get your passport checked when you go through the border. If you are going on a mountain trek, it could be dangerous so tell someone where you are going. MOst hiking routes are well marked so be in good physical condition. You will be above the clouds looking down on the whole of romania. There are heaps of lakes as well. You can get a taxi to the town of Bisrita to go to the gypsy festival. The gypsy call themselves the roma. Gypsies come from India originally. Every year the gypsies come to the church of saint gregory in bisrita to make their offerings. Every pilgrim has to kiss the tomb of saint gregory and climb under it three times.

At a market you can get anything you like, even gamble. Buy a flag. The roma people have got a bad reputation. But the gypsies are consummate artists. They love to sing and dance. Romania's gypsies have suffered oppression but have fiercely held on to their culture.

The capital of Romania is Bucharest. Two million live in Bucharest. founded by a legendary shepherd called bucha. There are strong Turkish influences in Bucharest because it is close to Turkey. The palace of the people is known as the folly of Ceaucescu. Three stories are underground and is the third largest building in the world and is not even finished. You can visit the grave of nicolai Ceaucescu in the cemetery.
