When you get to Latvia make sure you go to the old bobsled track. In summer, they put wheels on the bobsleds and for about five dollars you can go down the bobsled track with a Latvian expert driver. If you dare to go down the hill you must be very brave. It is very scary and the ride lasts a minute and you will go up the wall going around the corners.

Riga is known as the Paris of Eastern Europe. It is a city rich in cultural and maritime history. For years, old sailing ships sailed to Riga to get spars and rigging for their tall ships. The Riga Central Markets are in an old wartime airplane hangers. They sell vegetables and fruits. The best souvenir you can get is amber from the forests.
