Travelling in Finland

To get to Finland you can get a ferry for twenty five dollars. It is a five hour ride across the gulf of finland to Helsinki. When you get there you can get a Helsinki Card which will get you discounts on travel and access to museums. Helsinki is a popular tourist spot in Finland. The monument to the famous composer Sibelius has a sculpture made up of pipe like shapes. A good thing to do is catch a tram for a pub tour. The pub tram ride lasts for an hour and is free except that a glass of beer will cost you about six dollars. On the pub tram you can drink your beer in leisure and see Helsinki flow by.

The train to Karelia in Finland will cost about thirty five dollars. Karelia is full of forests and lakes. ON the train ride to Karelia all you will see is trees trees trees. There are lots of mosquitoes in the forests of Karelia Finland. You can stay in huts in the forests for free and trek through the forest. Take a guide as it is easy to get lost in the Finland wilderness. There are wild bears in the forests. The bear hunters kill the bears that are causing trouble for humans or cattle and cows and other livestock. Take a canoe ride and paddle along the rivers of Karelia. The area has lots of rivers and lakes and is good for water sports.
